Position: IT Support Technician (Casual)
We’re looking for reliable, tech-savvy IT Support Technicians to join our team on a casual, work-as-needed contractor basis. This role is ideal for IT students, freelancers, or professionals looking for a side-hustle alongside study, another job, or their own business.

This is a casual position.
There are no guaranteed hours
Work will be offered as jobs become available
Jobs will be scheduled around your stated availability
You are free to accept or decline work as it suits you
About the role:
You will provide on-site and occasional remote IT support to homes and small businesses. Typical tasks include setting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, Wi-Fi routers, and other everyday technology.
We understand that delivering the best possible outcome for the customer benefits everyone. That’s why support is always available for more complex or unfamiliar tasks — you’ll never be left on your own when you need assistance.
What we’re looking for:
You’ll be a great fit if you have:

– Experience providing on-site IT support in a home or office environment
– English as your first language, with strong verbal and written communication skills
– Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional manner
– The ability to explain technical issues clearly, without jargon

– Knowledge of building PCs
Requirements:
To be eligible, you must have:
– Your own vehicle and a current driver’s license
– An Australian Business Number (ABN) as you will be working as a
sub-contractor to Perth Geeks.
– The ability to issue electronic invoices in PDF format
– Your own toolkit, troubleshooting equipment, and basic parts inventory would be advantageous. We can, however, help you attain the necessary items or possibly provide some of them.
